Someone help me out here?

What's the word for "Not giving enough of a shit to complain?"

I'd been hearing since August about the Motorama room at this year's World of Wheels.

Supposedly it was to be filled with "Traditional Hot Rods and Customs."

I'm not really surprised about what I found in said "Room".
Anytime a subculture gains in popularity it's gonna get bludgeoned to death by the bandwagon.

Thing is,(As the kids say) I'm pretty sure the bludgeoning happened about 10 years ago.

Now, it's just some stupid fucking parody that's left me with this weird voice in my head.
It (The voice) sounds a lot like Rakim (Don't ask, this is why I can't ever answer the question, "So, what kind of music do you like?") saying, "Shitbox Alley."

Crap, did that sound like a complaint?
My apologies, really.

Of course, there were a few nice cars in among the crap, and maybe it's just my dim view of the general public, but something tells me they got over looked.

These, apparently, qualify as "Traditional blah, blah, blah" in 2010.

What better way to start the week than with a Ferrari?
Here's one of 2 that showed up over the weekend & looking at the week's list, this is just the beginning:

This picture was stolen from work's website AND I promise this place won't become solely about work.
Like anyone's watchin' anyhow.....

To quote Kevin Seconds....

"Be my friend."

Like running, I'm really bad at "Social Network" type sites.
I once made a fake MySpace page to appease co-workers.
On this page I not only claimed to be a senior citizen, but also allegedly spent time in the clink for various offenses, including "Involuntary Polygamy."
Even though I claimed Myles Connor kept trying to sell me stolen, "Masterpieces in Paint by Numbers" I would still
get messages from local people that said things like, "Hey! I was in prison too! We should hang!"

Now that it seems most of my favorite internet forums are either too big to keep up with, too hostile to bother with, or too elite to care about, it's time for me to come clean about Face Book.

I've had a Facebook thing for awhile & although I really don't do much with it, if you'd like to be socially awkward with yet another medium, please feel free to add me as a friend here.

No time for posting!!

Would you believe I've actually been out playing music?
Like, with other people and things?
Whatever you are thinking about hell & snowballs...
It's probably true.

Before I go spouting off

about how completely over-hyped and way off the mark this year's World of Wheels "Motorama Room" was, here's a few pictures of things that were actually, you know, nice.

Some stuff from set-up night 2010

I hope I picked some photos that don't need any explanation.
Too tired to type.

I never quite got the hang of Tuesdays

I've got plenty on my mind, I'm just too tired to bang it out & I've got tons of new pictures, I'm just too tired to re size them right now.
Also, I got poked in the eye with a stick while walking Lucky.
Everyone's right, there really are a bunch of things better!
Eh, that now goes on the same list with "Slipping on a banana peel."
I don't know what I am working towards but, eventually, I will have lived out every cliche'.
Here's some random old pictures I may, or may not, have already posted.

Not so much trespassing , part 2

Oddly, Boston's World of Wheels happened in March this year.
Again, I slid in on set up night.
Not only was the "Motorama Room" I'd been hearing so much about completely pathetic (pictures later) but there where more interesting at this car show, than there were at the motorcycle show from a few weeks ago.

And yes, there were a few "Less environmentally friendly"

And know?
This thing is really just a fender & headlight away from being SSSOOO freakin' cool.

As usual, sorry about the crummy pictures.
Choose your excuse:
Crummy lighting
Crummy set up
Crummy operator.

The Sprained Ankles

I'm pretty sure these guys are my new favorite local band.
Find me a band that not only has a lead kazoo but can be as historically inaccurate!
Go on....I dare ya!

There's not a heck of a lot out there in Youtube world but you can hear more here.

On the run

It may take a few days for me to get back in the swing of both a day job, (Which I can honestly say is the best job in the world) a night life and a blog addiction.
In the meantime, here's more stolen photos.
