I always like to remind people Easter is the one Pagan Holiday the Christians couldn't really bury the symbols of.
Eggs?
Rabbits?
Springtime?
You know, rebirth & things....
Oh!
And nailing a guy to a tree for being nice to people.

Come to think of it, the Christians aren't very good at burying anything (Jesus, pedeophile priests, etc.). Uggh.
I grew up going to Catholic school with church every Sunday until I was 18 (dad)...but my mom is a practicing pagan, witch & astrologer (into magik -- yeah, the with a "k" kind). So, yeah. Look up Saternalia when you get a chance. Puts "Christmas cheer" in a new light.
