A friend of mine used to say "Money should come with instructions". Case in point.
Know when to stop folks, less is usually more. Making up for lack of skill or creativity by using what they do have, money to just pile on the shit.
"Various opiates and amphetamines were commonly used as antidepressants until the mid-1950s, when they fell out of favor due to their addictive nature and side effects."
Perhaps "bad taste" is a long term antidepressant side effect? That would explain so much in this world.
